My name is James. I am an artist. This is Jez
, one of my favourite models, to my never-ending amazement, nobody on the internet reads anything and people continue to assume she is the artist, and that these are all self-portraits.

Here are some portraits I've done of my dear friend Jez.
Some are just hasty sketches, others are more serious attempts to capture her stunning likeness.
These are not presented here in the chronological order of their creation. And to the anonymous person who signed the guestbook and said I'm an obsessed weirdo, I take exception to that, if I'm obsessed, then there's nothing weird about drawing the same person many times is there? I take it as a compliment though anyway.
The cat is Kitty, Jez's cat who recently passed away.
